Interlake's roots go all the way back to the year 1909, when the manufacturing of simple slotted angle (virtually everything was built from slotted angle) was their core business. As warehousing and distribution became more sophisticated over the years because of increased space and labor costs, the storage rack industry grew and Interlake grew with it. Currently, Interlake has four (4) manufacturing plants strategically located in North America to service its customers globally. These plants are located in Sumter, SC, Pontiac, IL, Lodi, CA, and Matamoros, Mexico.
